Re: North 89 Pathway Project Seasonal Closure

The seasonal closure of the North 89 Pathway between the Town of Jackson and Grand Teton National Park will be in effect through April 30. The pathway, which is still under construction, is subject to an annual closure between October 1 and April 30 in order to reduce impacts to migrating and wintering elk and other wildlife on the National Elk Refuge.

Great News from FoP for the New Year!

Excellent Pathway News Submitted by Friend’s of Pathways:
Today the Teton County Commissioners awarded the final major contract for the North 89 Pathway for the Gros Ventre Pathway Bridge installation. The contract went to low bidder Westwood Curtis Construction for $454,892. The County has previously awarded two other contracts to build the 6.1 mile pathway from the Town of Jackson to the Gros Ventre River, plus a separate contract to purchase the steel bridge parts.

GTNP Celebration Ride!

Check out the new Pathway!

Another huge thanks to the good folks at Friends of Pathways.  Check out the new system that is currently under development.  It starts across the street from Diary Queen and parts of the pathways will be completed this summer!  It will eventually connect with the pathway in the park.  Thanks FoP!
